The Clinical Evaluation Program at the Counseling Center

The Counseling Center has developed nine areas of competence that are expected of all graduates of the program. Below you will find a summary of the areas followed by the methods of evaluation. The interns are expected to become proficient in using assessment instruments and to know how to use assessment methods that are based on the best available empirical literature.

They will learn to integrate test findings with clinical interview and observations to develop knowledge of learning disabilities and attentional disorders.
