The Land Management Officer: Experience and Reports

The land management officer is responsible for the land inventory and classification program, land disposal program, and land acquisitions. Responsibilities include coordination with federal, state and local governments. A bachelor's degree in resource management, planning or related field is required.

Land Use Planning and Management

Land use is defined as any and all activities associated with land, regardless of ownership, whether natural or man-made, urban or rural, on the surface, in the air, or underground.
