Supervised Visitation in Divorce

In a divorce, the most contentious issues are custody and child support. Parents will share responsibility and a fair schedule to make sure they are involved in their children's lives. Supervised visits may take place for a limited time until the court fixes the issues that concern them.

If the parent can demonstrate they can provide a safe environment for their children, the court order may be lifted. When supervised visitation is implemented, it is done with a series of terms and provisions set for in a court-ordered visitation order.
