Business Ambassadors in DSDM

The success of a DSDM project depends on the active involvement of the business users. The Business analyst should not become an agent between the Solution Development Team members but should support and facilitate the communication between them. The Business Ambassador often calls upon the Business Advisor to provide specialist input to solution development or solution testing.

The Business advisor may be a beneficiary of the solution or may be a representative of the focus group. They can provide legal or regulatory advice with which the solution must comply. The Technical advisor supports the team by providing specific, and often specialist, technical input to the project, often from the perspective of those responsible for operational change management, operational support, ongoing maintenance of the solution, etc.

Automotive Service Advisors

A service advisor is responsible for communicating with customers about their vehicle repair needs andrelaying information to the service technicians. Their duties include greeting customers, helping them determine repairs and costs, and keeping up-to-date knowledge of their employer's services. Service Advisors work at car dealerships or automotive repair shops to act as liaisons between service staff and customers.

They work with Service Technicians to determine the price for repairs and explain the reasons for the cost to customers. They help customers take advantage of repair deals and learn about warranty programs. They may be responsible for maintaining repair schedules and ordering car parts.

School and Career Counselors

Master's degree programs in counseling will help you to access clients' skills and interests. Communication courses, psychology, microcomputer applications, and theory classes are possible. Students in most degree programs have to do supervised work.
